I think you&#039;re absolutely right about relationships.

Worth remembering though, that with the whole hierarchy system your students would be very unlikely to take issue with your material - you are their teacher, and therefore beyond reproach, regardless of whether or not you&#039;re teaching them correctly (and I&#039;m sure you are!).</description>

The corollary to your idea, then, is that the linguistic differences between Thai and English or other European languages show that, in contrast to Western society, relationships are more important, and ideas, especially the kind of nuance implied by the various synonyms we use, are less important.

As a high school teacher here (English program in a Thai school), my experience backs this up. No one ever takes issue with the material I teach. All the scrutiny, and all the potential for messing up, involves how I deal with relationships.</description>
