Epic Trip Part Two – New York and Bethel

After my week in Chicago via Copenhagen, it was time for Flight Three – Chicago O’Hare to New York LaGuardia.

Surely the least eventful of all my journeys – looking back 5 months later, I can’t remember anything about it. This is why I should write about trips closer to the time, but I want the blog to be chronological, and so subsequent trips are likely to suffer the same fate, when I get around to writing those… Ho hum.

Epic Trip Part One – Copenhagen & Chicago

And now, in December, I can begin to write about July…

I had always planned to head to the UK in August for my annual trip “home”, to see friends and family. And I needed to get over to the USA in July. And then, someone (ahem) had the bright idea of combining the two trips. In all, I spent 35 days on the road, which I now realise is far too long to be away from one’s own bed and bathroom. Singapore

n.b. This was in June. Yes, it is now November. I have been ludicrously busy. Subsequent trips have seen me spend time in Denmark, the USA, the UK, Ireland and Cambodia. Hopefully I’ll get those written up this year…

“Fancy a trip to Borneo?” asked CJ. “I’ll be there in a couple of weeks”.

“I’d love to, but I’m way too busy that week”.

“Well, I’ve got a couple of nights in Singapore the week after that, on my way back to England. Fancy flying over and joining me there instead?”

“Sounds good. Never been to Singapore. See you there”.
