They’re mostly eaten by those gold old Issan folks, as I understand it. When times are hard on the farm, any source of protein will do. And I guess they get hooked on the little critters, hence the demand for them on the streets of Bangkok, even though “proper” food is plentiful here…
…by proper food, you mean a big mac and fries no? or perhaps that egg mc muffin you were laguishing over a while back?
