Online, sideways

I’ve been staying in a friend’s empty apartment since Thursday, on Petchburi Road, central Bangkok. It’s a nice place, and I’m finally online in my room.

See, there’s a wireless network in the building which I can use for internet access, for the princely sum of B1,000 per month. We had problems setting it up yesterday – the signal was just too weak, and it kept dropping out. However, I have just discovered that if I turn my Mac Mini on its side, I get a great signal. Looks funny, but it works.

I’ll be catching up with emails over the next day or so, and then striding forward with a variety of new projects. Assuming I can stay out of my rooftop pool… :)
