I’ve left my job, and I’ve given one month’s notice to my landlord of the end of my tenancy in this wonderful house.
I’m going to be putting just about all of my posessions on eBay over the next few days, saying goodbyes, spending a week in Ireland, and then I’m flying to Thailand in about a month’s time – for rather longer than my customary annual two weeks.
Since my first trip, just over two years ago, I’ve wanted to do this. Time and time again, I have found reasons not to go. I realised on this year’s trip that all the farangs I have met in Bangkok have one thing in common – they did what they wanted to do, and didn’t let anything stop them.
There will always be reasons against doing anything. I’ve decided to look for the reasons for. I think I’ve found more than enough.
see ya!
Ta ra!
i kinda guessed you’d be up-to something like this, and you did drop a few ‘hints’ over the past ‘coupla months.
all the best baz, “pob gan mai” ;-)
Heh, yes it was somewhat frustrating to be unable to tell the world!
Couldn’t be too careful though, what with people at my now-former work reading and all.
Right, I’m off to post the complete Men Behaving Badly DVD set to Denmark, as part of my “selling my entire life on eBay” mission. Sawasdee!
